President Donald Trump on Friday announced the leaders of his transition team, including two of his sons, ahead of his potential return to the White House.
The team will be led by two of the largest donors to his campaign, according to The Hill.
This is Linda McMahon, who was in charge of the Small Business AdministrationDuring Donald Trump’s first term and businessman Howard Lutnik, who heads the financial firm Cantor Fitzgerald.
They will be followed by vice presidential candidate JD Vance and his two eldest sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.
“The 2024 Republican platform of ‘Making America Great Again’ will deliver security, prosperity, and freedom to the American people. My administration will deliver on these bold promises,” the former president said in a statement.
The Hill noted that appointing a transition team before Election Day is “standard” procedure for presidential campaigns, as it lays the groundwork for taking office should a candidate win.
