Donald Trump ruled out participating in a second debate with his Democratic rival, Kamala Harrisafter the event in Filadelfia, Pensilvania.

Amid speculation that there could be another face-to-face between the candidates – Trump’s third so far in the election campaign, considering the first against Joe Biden– the former president used his profile on Truth Social to assure that this will not happen.

“There will be no third debate!”he wrote in a message in which he added the following reason why he rejects the idea: “When a boxer loses a fight, the first thing he says is ‘I want a rematch.’” That is why, considering that he did not lose in Philadelphia, but that he had a “great night” and won, he does not need this new instance.

On the contrary, he attacked the vice president and pointed out that, instead of asking for a new debate, “Kamala should focus on what she should have done over the past nearly four years.”

On the Democratic side, Harris’ campaign team insisted on a third face-to-face meeting before November 5.
