The US president, Donald Trump, claimed the “immediate cancellation” of the trial for corruption against Israeli prime minister, Benjamín Netanyahu, and requested, otherwise, he is pardoned.
The Republican tycoon described that process as “witch hunt” and criticized that Netanyahu has been summoned again this Monday.
“He deserves something much better and the state of Israel too. Bibi Netanyahu’s judgment should be canceled immediately or a great hero that has done so much for the State should be granted. I think I don’t know anyone who could have worked in better harmony with the president of the United States, I, that Bibi Netanyahu,” Trump said in his social network, Truth Social.
Three crimes of corruption
The trial dates back to 2020. Netanyahu is the first head of government in the history of Israel who is prosecuted being active and is accused of crime of bribery, fraud and abuse of trust.
Trump criticized that audiences continue at a time when Israel has just registered “one of the greatest moments in its history.”
Israel began bombing Iran on June 13 with the aim of damaging the Army and the Nuclear Program of the Ayatolás.
The United States joined the conflict between the two countries over the weekend by bombarding three Iranian nuclear facilities and, after they will have both parties, Trump announced the high on Monday the fire between Israel and Iran.
Trump: “Bibi couldn’t have been better”
“Bibi and I just had a hell together, fighting Iran, an enemy of Israel very hard and bright for a long time. Bibi could not have been better, more insightful or stronger in his love for the incredible holy land. Any other would have suffered losses, shame and chaos!” Trump added.
In his opinion, the Israeli prime minister “was a warrior as perhaps no other warrior in the history of Israel, and the result was something that nobody believed possible: the complete elimination of one of the potentially larger and most powerful nuclear weapons in the world”, something that in his opinion was going to take place “soon!”.
Trump said that “witch hunt” against a man who “has given so much” is “unthinkable.” “It was the United States that saved Israel and now it will be the United States to save Bibi Netanyah. You can’t afford this parody of ‘Justice’!” He added. Source: news
