Washington (apro). – Donald Trump, president of the United States, announced that “immediately” the governments of Russia and Ukraine will begin negotiations to achieve a ceasefire and end the war between the two nations.
Through his account in the social network of which he owns, Truth Social, and after a telephone conversation of “two hours” with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, the US president described the news and the talk with his counterpart.
“Immediately Russia and Ukraine will begin to negotiate to put a cessation on the fire and, most importantly, to end war. The conditions of that will be agreed by the two parties as it can only be because the details of this should not know it,” he added.
When reviewing his talk with Putin, the president of the United States cataloged her of an “excellent tone and spirit” and said Russia wants to realize a “large -scale” commercial agreement with the United States as soon as the “blood bath” with Ukraine is over.
Trump noted that by phone he already informed Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, that negotiations with Russia will begin immediately to end the war and stop the attacks.
Trump did the same with the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leye; to the French president, Emmanuel Macron; to Finland, Alexander Stubb; to the First Minister of Italy, Georgia Meloni, and the Chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz.
“There are tremendous opportunities for Russia to create massive numbers of employment and wealth, its potential is unlimited, the same, Ukraine can be a great beneficiary in trade for the reconstruction process,” Trump emphasizes in reference to trade commitments with his country.
True to his style of making the ads, finally, Trump in his message in Truth Social, stressed that “the Vatican, represented by the Pope (Leo XIV), has established that he would be very interested in being the host of the negotiations. Let us let the process start!”
