
The training week organized by Malagasy Rugby called “Super Week Rugby” began on Monday at the Maki Andohatapenaka Stadium. It’s the turn of the capital which is hosting this federation program this year, the training series of which will be in the spotlight. The training of trainers, provided by World Rugby technicians, got the ball rolling on Tuesday. International experts led by Charles Yapo, training manager in French-speaking Africa, will share their experiences with Malagasy technicians for four days. They are supported by the national technical director and Berthin Zoto. The “Super Week” continues with level 1 and level 2 training which will take place starting tomorrow. This training concerns coaches, physical trainers, medical staff and referees. Medical Level 2 training will be reserved for medical personnel including doctors, paramedics, physiotherapists, laboratory technicians, and anesthesiologists. All training is free. However, participants must complete a series of online tests on the World Rugby Passport website. The training will end this Sunday.
