Traffic training was given to students studying in village schools in Kırklareli by gendarmerie teams.
The Gendarmerie Mobile Traffic Training Vehicle, which came to the city within the scope of the work carried out jointly by the ministries of Internal Affairs and National Education, met with students in Kaynarca town of Pınarhisar district and Çakıllı and Kıyıköy towns of Vize district.
In the training held at Kaynarca Primary School, gendarmerie teams gave students theoretical and practical information about pedestrian crossings, traffic lights and basic traffic rules. After the training, students had the opportunity to get to know the gendarmerie vehicles closely.
Muharrem Yörükoğlu, Principal of Kaynarca Primary School, stated to the AA correspondent that the education was extremely useful for the students and said, “Today, our children learned the traffic rules both theoretically and practically. We wish such activities to continue.” he said.
Yörükoğlu emphasized that the gendarmerie teams’ communication with the children was very good.
İnci Güneş Kuş, one of the students, said that she was happy to learn the traffic rules.
Selim Eraslan stated that he learned where to walk on the sidewalk and invited the gendarmerie teams back to his school.
It was reported that the Mobile Traffic Training Vehicle will continue its training in different schools throughout the city at regular intervals.
