The Regional Thessaloniki was completed in the early 90s. Not without reactions. An “alternative” front argued that the street would brutally injure Sheikh Su. Experience proved that if the road had not been built, the city would have drowned in its own traffic jam. The regional is extended by the famous Fly Over.
