Tracy Eboigbodin she was one of the most loved contestants of the11th season of MasterChef Italiathe cooking show, hosted by judges and starred chefs Antonino Cannavacciuolo, Giorgio Locatelli and Bruno Barbierimanaging to secure the victory.
What won over the three chefs was Tracy’s ability to combine the Italian cuisine with that of his country of origin, Nigeria that he brings to every dish. “In Nigeria there is a thought: whoever cooks must be happy. If you cook in a state of happiness and tranquility, the emotion comes. For me food is spiritual, I don’t eat to nourish the body, but to nourish the soul.”
Her passion for cooking, in fact, began when she was little, in Nigeria, where, as Tracy herself says, children are taught to take responsibility right from the start and they are taught what and how they should cook.

Before her participation in MasterChef Italia, Tracy she worked as a waitress. As she herself explains, not having studied hotel management, but having done it psychopedagogical high schoolshe never set out to work in the kitchen and has always felt a little disadvantaged on a technical level, having never attended courses and being self-taught.

After the victory of the cooking show
As far as we know, the young aspiring Chef has never applied to work in a restaurant or trattoria, but after winning MasterChef, Tracy published her cookbook, entitled “Soul Kitchen. My recipes to nourish the soul” and continued to study hard, in fact, he decided to enroll in a cooking school.
His desire, however, remains to open his own little one Home Restaurant with a maximum of 20 dinersbut in the meantime she works as a consultant chef for some companies and is often invited as a guest at culinary events.
