The Pest Central District Court announced a verdict in the case at the preliminary session held on December 13, 2023 – due to the defendant’s admission and waiver of the trial – and sentenced him to five years in prison and six years of disqualification from public affairs for the crime of driving while intoxicated and causing death. and permanently prohibited him from driving on the road. Against the sentence, the prosecutor filed an appeal for aggravation, while the defense filed an appeal for mitigation. The defendant acknowledged the decision.

The tribunal has now determined that the district court rendered a legal verdict in accordance with the procedural rules and classified the crime correctly.
