Torreón “beats” Saltillo in job creation during the first quarter of 2024. According to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi), 956,115 jobs were registered in Torreón while in Saltillo there were 798,821.
An analysis prepared by SigloData revealed that in the first quarter of 2023, 928,522 jobs were generated in Torreón, of which 584,330 were economically active and 344,192 were not, while Saltillo reached 783,040 jobs, mostly economically active.
