The prestigious “FourFourTwo” publication has announced the list of the best stadiums in the world.
Publika.az reports that the ranking is prepared according to the arenas where the home games of the club and national teams are held. The list includes the 100 best stadiums on the planet.
Baku Olympic Stadium is also included in the rating list. The largest sports facility of Azerbaijan was ranked 41st in the list published by the publication.
The ranking of arenas is headed by “La Bombonera”, located in Argentina and owned by “Boca Juniors”. The second place is the “Maracana” (“Vasco da Gama”) stadium of Brazil, which has an ancient history. The “first three” is closed by “Signal Iduna Park” belonging to “Borussia” Dortmund.
In the “Ten”, respectively, “Ibrox” (Rangers, Scotland), “Estadio Monumental” (River Plate, Argentina), “Azteca” (Club America, Mexico), “Camp Nou” (Barcelona) , Spain), “Tottenham Hotspur” (“Tottenham”, England), “Wembley” (England national team) and “San Siro” (red – alias “Giuseppe Meatsa”) (“Milan”, “Inter”, Italy) decided.
Among the arenas in Turkey, “Şukrü Saracoğlu” (Fenerbagha) is ranked 33rd, “Yeni Ali Sami Yen Stadium” (“Galatasaray”) is ranked 47th, and Atatürk Olympic Stadium is ranked 69th.
