Tolosa Paz attacked Milei for describing Congress as a "rathole"

The national representative of Unión por la Patria (UxP) Victoria Tolosa Paz rejected the president’s criticism Javier Miley against him Congress and he urged him to go to the campus on March 1st to give the speech at the beginning of regular sessions.

In her account on the social network Alberto Fernandezwrote: “That rat’s nest you refer to is the National Congress, which in addition to being one of the three fundamental pillars of our Republic, is the guarantor of the consolidation of the longest democratic period in our history.”

“We are waiting for you on March 1 at the opening of ordinary sessions, to honor the place that the people have given you: that of being president of the Nation,” he added.

Yesterday, Milei launched strong criticism on Monday against legislators who did not support the omnibus bill, accusing them of “clinging to their privileges instead of giving in.”

At an event in Corrientes, he described Congress as “a rat’s nest” and warned about the negative impact on Argentina’s growth due to the rejection of the treatment of this project, estimating a delay of up to 30 years.
