Today Din Syamsuddin et al held an action to defend Palestine in Jakarta

JAKARTA – The Indonesian People’s Alliance Defending Palestine (ARI-BP) will hold an Action to Defend Palestine today. The humanitarian action will be held in the Silang Monas area, Central Jakarta.

In the invitation to action received by iNews Media Group, the action will be held on Sunday (9/6/2024) at 15.00 WIB. The invitation to the action was signed by the Chairman of the ARI-BP Steering Committee, Din Syamsuddin.

This action took the theme “Billions of Support for Gaza and Palestine”. This action can also be followed by the general public.

This action was also supported by the Indonesian Ulema Council. Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Buya Amirsyah also condemned and asked for Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people to stop.

“The key word in this problem is actually how to make Israel aware, but the fact is that the awareness of a nation or a country depends on the conscience of that nation and country. And we agree that civilization anywhere in the world can progress because of the heart his conscience is conscious,” said Buya Amirsyah, Saturday (8/6/2024)

Buya also emphasized that the MUI is committed to defending and taking part in efforts for Palestinian independence. “MUI has issued Fatwa Number 83 of 2023, the contents of which are to fully support Palestinian independence and boycott Israeli products. This is very effective and must continue to be echoed,” he said.
