In an effort to promote health and disease prevention, the Manizales Mayor’s Office has organized the Municipal Vaccination Day, which will take place in the Mayor’s Square. This initiative aims to provide access to regular biologics and the influenza vaccine to the entire Manizalean community.

Vaccination Details

The day, available until 3:00 pm, aims to serve different groups of the population and complete vaccination schemes according to individual needs. The target population and available vaccines are as follows:

  • Child population under six years of age: vaccination schemes will be completed as needed, including all required vaccines.
  • Children of 2, 3, 4, and 5 years: update of the scheme with reinforcement of Triple Viral.
  • Girls from 9 to 17 years: Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).
  • Pregnant women: vaccination with tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (TdaP).
  • Women of childbearing age 10 to 49 years: Tetanus (Td).
  • Susceptible population from 1 to 59 years: yellow fever.
  • Children born between January 1, 2010, and December 31, 2019: additional dose of Measles-Rubella (SR).
  • Adults over 60 years: Influenza.
  • Population between 2 and 59 years of age with a diagnosis of risk (pulmonary, cardiovascular and liver diseases, obesity, immunocompromised, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, HIV, cancer, among others): Influenza.
  • Human talent in health: Influenza.
  • General population from 3 years old: Covid-19 (schemes will be completed as needed).
  • Target population (MSM, sex workers, transgender women, people who inject drugs, street dwellers, indigenous people, and migrants): Adult Hepatitis B (only pending completion of scheme).
