A new platform for the development of skills in Cultural Management will take place between April 6 and May 11 at the CCC Cinema and Creation Center (Raulí 571).
Curator Natalia Arcos and journalists Catalina Mena and Elisa Cárdenas, prominent professionals in the Chilean cultural sector, invite you to share this experience, where a wide and diverse audience will be able to access a guide on the conceptualization, discursivity and dissemination of cultural works and projects.
Three workshops of six sessions each, constitute the body of this initiative that under the brand “La luciérnaga” proposes an unprecedented model of convergence between theory, practice and professional experience, along with promoting the return to in-person presence after years of pandemic.
The La luciérnaga workshops seek to illuminate and energize cultural activities, as a complementary contribution to traditional academia. Natalia Arcos in curating, Catalina Mena in writing and Elisa Cárdenas in communication are three women and three professional voices, who will share their specific knowledge and experience in the cultural field, through aspects such as the development of a concept, the construction of a narrative and the application of elements for the dissemination and social impact of cultural proposals.
The challenges of thinking and putting together an exhibition, the writing of visual arts and the forms of dissemination and mediation are essential elements for the existence of a project, and are part of the contents that the La Luciérnaga workshops will teach. The sessions will take place at the CCC headquarters, a property of heritage value in the Vicuña Mackenna/Santa Isabel neighborhood, rescued as a space where culture is disseminated and shared.
The La Luciérnaga workshops will be held on Saturdays between April 6 and May 11. All information and rates can be found on the Instagram profile @laluciernagatalleres. Inquiries and registrations at lucié[email protected].
