Three members of a family, originally from Tijuana, They drowned in a lake in the town of Tecate, Mexico.
According to certain witnesses of the tragedyit all started because of a “flip-flop.” Witnesses told local media that a 24-year-old woman tried to retrieve the item that fell into the water.
However, in his attempt, was submerged and her daughter, a minor, decided to help her, but she also sank. Later, in his desperation, the grandfather, a 50-year-old man, tried to help them, but he couldn’t.
Unfortunately, the three family members disappeared in the water and drowned in Lake 2 of the swamp, in Tecate, Baja California state.
The victims arrived in the state of Baja California to enjoy their summer vacation, however, they found death.
Following this incident, which claimed the lives of three members of a family, local authorities decided to restrict access to the area.
