Three cities of Azerbaijan and Belarus have become fraternal.

Publika.az reports that this was made possible by the signing ceremony of Azerbaijan-Belarus documents on May 16 with the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

Thus, Eldar Azizov, the head of the Baku City Executive Authority, and Vladimir Kukharyov, the chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, signed the “Memorandum on the establishment of fraternal relations between the city of Baku (Republic of Azerbaijan) and the city of Minsk (Republic of Belarus)”.

Head of Ganja City Executive Niyazi Bayramov and Chairman of Gomel City Executive Committee Vladimir Privalov signed the “Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of fraternal relations between the city of Ganja (Republic of Azerbaijan) and the city of Gomel (Republic of Belarus)”.

The head of the Gabala District Executive Authority, Sabuhi Abdullayev, and the chairman of the Grodno City Executive Committee, Andrey Khmel, signed the “Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of fraternal relations between the city of Gabala (Republic of Azerbaijan) and the city of Grodno (Republic of Belarus)”.
