Millions of people took to the streets in the ‘mass mobilization day’ 6-4 (Vietnam time) to protest the decisions of US President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk related to the reduction of personnel of the government, economy, human rights and many other issues.
This is said to be the biggest protest since President Donald Trump returned to its power since January.
According to US information firms, more than 1,400 protests have been more than 150 groups, including civil rights organizations, labor unions, veterans … plan to be held at the center of National Mall in Washington DC, National Assembly buildings and many other locations in all 50 states.
They criticized the policy of President Donald Trump’s administration, fired thousands of federal employees, closed the field offices of the social security agency, deported immigrants, narrowed the measures to protect transgender people and cut the federal budget for health programs.
The biggest protest is said to take place in the Civic Center Plaza area just outside the San Diego City Hall with the participation of local officials and community activists. The protesters also marched to the Justice Court.
During the protest in Washington DC, many representatives went to the podium, including Democrats Jamie Raskin of Maryland. Many banners are raised high with the words “Protect our Constitution” and “Don’t touch our rights”.
In England and France, nearly 600,000 people registered to participate in protests, some took place in big cities like London and Paris.
The organizers said they had three requests: “Terminating the billionaires capturing the economy; ending the federal fund reduction for Medicaid, social security and other programs that workers are relying on; ending attacks on immigrants, transgender people and other communities.”
Meanwhile, Elon Musk, head of the Government effectively (DOGE), one of the close advisors of the US President, said that the actions of this ministry in recent years are saving billions of dollars to taxpayers.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, said: “President Donald Trump will not be discouraged when fulfilling the commitments he made to make the federal government more effective and more responsible for hard -working taxpayers across the country, who elected him in an overwhelming way.
