The award ceremony of ‘BAFTA Award-2024’ was held. This year’s award ceremony was held at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Monday Bangladesh time (February 19).

Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ is the only winner at BAFTA. It won in 7 categories including Best Director, Best Movie, Best Actor.

Emily Blunt, Margot Robbie, Bradley Cooper and many other famous stars have caught the attention of the red carpet at this event.

Several stars including Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, David Beckham and Dua Lipa were in the presentation of ‘BAFTA Award-2024’.

Yorgos Lanthimos’ ‘Poor Things’ won in five categories at this year’s event. The film won Best Costume, Makeup and Hairstyling, Production Design, Special Visual Effects along with Best Actress.

Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’ has been selected as the most talked about box office movie at ‘BAFTA’. Also, Leonardo DiCaprio starrer ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ was reportedly nominated in 9 categories.

Let’s know the ‘BAFTA’ award winners –

Best Movie: Oppenheimer. Best British Film: The Zone of Interest. Best Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer: Savannah Leaf won Best Director and Writer for Earth Mama. Shirley, Conor and Medby Riordan won the producer award.

Best Non-English Language Film: The Zone of Interest. Best Documentary: 20 Days in Mariupol. Best Animated Movie: The Boy and the Heron. Best Director: Christopher Nolan (Oppenheimer).

Best Cinematography: Oppenheimer.

Best editing: Oppenheimer.

Best Dressed: Poor things.

Best Makeup and Hair Styling: Poor things.

Best Song: Oppenheimer.

Best Production Design: Poor things.
