Some batches of the Swiss “Diprospan” commercial drug have been recalled.
From the Center for Analytical Expertise Publika.azAccording to the information given to , serial W009991 with an expiry date of 11/2023, serial W009991 with an expiry date of 01/2024, serial W015391 with an expiry date of 03/2024, serial W025079 with an expiry date of 06/2024 and serial W033463 with an expiry date of 08/2024 2024 “Diprospan” trade name (1 ml of suspension contains: betamethasone dipropionate – 6.43 mg (eq. to 5 mg betamethasone), betamethasone sodium phosphate (eq. to 2 mg betamethasone) – suspension for injection containing 2.63 mg, 1 ml, in glass ampoules No. 5, in plastic packaging, in a cardboard box) medicines have been recalled.
It should be noted that a decision was made to ban the wholesale and retail sale and import of the above-mentioned medicinal product based on the request for voluntary recall of only those series by “Organon Central East GmbH, Switzerland”.
This means that the drugs released only with the specified series of the drug in question are unusable.
