A friendship beyond the screen
Jackman was full of praise for the Canadian, whose acting style has been compared to silent film giants such as Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, among other things for the way he is able to play a masked character, well under his red suit, looking good under thick makeup.
Their personal friendship began with the Canadian’s full admiration for Jackman in 2008, when they were filming ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’: “I’ve never met anyone with that level of integrity. “He was a huge star, and at the same time he had a sense of unity on that set, and he knew everyone’s name,” Reynolds said.
