This is the EPM Smart Building: a unique experience in Medellín

Would you like to explore one of the most iconic and technological buildings in Medellín? Then you are in luck! EPM, the renowned public services company, has restarted its popular “Open Doors” tour program, giving you the opportunity to get up close to its impressive EPM Building, affectionately known as the “smart building.”

Since the beginning of the year, EPM has welcomed 1,263 visitors on 53 guided tours, including students from local and national universities, as well as tourists from various regions and countries.

This program will not only allow you to explore the physical facilities of the building, but will also give you an in-depth insight into the organization’s commitment to quality and sustainable development.

What are visits to the smart building like?

Guided tours of the EPM Building are designed to offer a complete and enriching experience. Visitors have the opportunity to tour several prominent spaces, starting with the Parque de los Pies Descalzos and the Public Plaza, which serves as the main entrance to the building.

The visit also includes a tour of different areas of the building, culminating on the 11th floor, where there is a spectacular panoramic terrace that offers an unparalleled view of Medellín.

During the tour, visitors are guided through the history of EPM, with emphasis on the most important milestones and innovative projects that have made a difference in the quality of life of the community and in the development of the territories where EPM is present.

Additionally, attendees have the opportunity to interact with experts from the organization, who are available to answer questions and delve deeper into topics of specific interest.

An open door program for everyone

EPM’s “Open Doors” visit program is not only an excellent opportunity to get to know the EPM Building, but also reflects the spirit of transparency and openness that characterizes the company.

Registration is free and easy, and visits take place Monday through Friday at three times: 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. Each group can be made up of a minimum of 12 people and a maximum of 25, ensuring a personalized and intimate experience.
