MEXICO CITY (apro).- The annual return for fiscal year 2023 must be submitted between April 1 and April 30 of this year, for individuals. For legal entities, the period was during the month of March, however, because the 28th and 29th are non-business days, they will have until April 1 to do so.
To make the declaration you must access the following link:
Once on the website, taxpayers are asked to provide their RFC, password, portable e-signature and captcha. Once you have been able to enter, you must select the “Submit return” option, which will take you to the taxpayer profile, where you must choose the 2023 fiscal year.
People who are under the “Wages and Salaries” regime will have the box pre-selected in the “Income to be declared” section, so no other should be selected; You only have to answer the question of whether income was obtained abroad or not.
Once you click “next”, the system will show the pre-filled declaration with the information that was submitted during the year. In the income tab, you must verify that salaries, wages and similar are correct; if any of the data is not correct, it can be deleted.
In the “Personal deductions” tab, taxpayers can see if they have a balance in favor or against, this means that there they can verify if the SAT owes them money – which must be returned to them – or, on the contrary, if The person is the one who has a debt with the tax service, which must be repaid.
Once the person verifies that all the pre-filled information is correct, they must select “Next”, once again, which will show the taxpayer a document with the presentation of the declaration, which will specify the balance in favor or against .
The SAT offers tutorials for taxpayers – of all tax regimes – through its YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@satmx/videoswhere you can consult, step by step, how to make your declarations, as well as other tax procedures.
