This is how you can merge your Star+ account with Disney+

On June 26, 2024, the merger of streaming services will take place Disney+ and Star+ creating a single service where all the products that were previously divided will be found for greater user comfort.

The decision has been announced throughout the first semester and there is no deadline that is not met. Starting at 01:00 Central Mexico time the merger will take place so the entire Star+ catalog will now be available in the Disney+ app.

How to merge your Star+ account with Disney+?

1. The ideal is to do it from your computer to have a keyboard that makes the operation easier.
2. Go to the Star+ website or the app from your phone or tablet. It will automatically take you to fill out the My Disney service form. This service will ask you for your email and to generate a password.
3. Once you have your username and password defined, you will be able to access Disney+ with this new registration. In addition, if you go on vacation to a company park, it will help you make restaurant reservations, purchase tickets, among other services.
4. The Star+ application will no longer be functional on June 26, so you will be automatically directed to create your new user.
5. You will have to log in again on the different devices you have if you have changed the password.

What will the new Disney+ offer with the Star+ merger?

Now all the movies and series that were on the Star+ platform will be found on Disney+, but there will be different levels of packages for users. In the case of sporting events there will be restrictions depending on the package selected.

Users will be able to choose between two packages: Disney+ Standard which will include the entire Disney and Star+ catalog as well as access to some linear channels. ESPNsimultaneous playback on two devices and only 25 total downloads.

The second package is called Disney+ Premium and includes what the Standard does with the addition that it has all the ESPN channels as well as exclusive events with ads as well as an increase in access to the number of devices and technology 4K and Dolby Atmos.
