Publika.az reports that this was said by Teymur Musayev, the first deputy minister of health, acting as the minister of health.
According to him, there are pandemic waves, and these waves are recorded in different countries with different frequencies: “This allows the medical staff of countries that have experienced these waves early to share their knowledge with their colleagues in other countries. As a result, there is a great progress in the management of this disease at the universal level.”
He noted that currently the only effective method of managing this disease is vaccination: “Citizens of Azerbaijan, unlike citizens of other countries, had the opportunity to choose a vaccine. To date, more than 60% of the total population has already been vaccinated. This allows us that in any case, in the future, based on the successful results of vaccination, we can consider the full control of the spread of the coronavirus infection in the country.”
