Taking into account the tightening of the attitude towards labor migrants from Central Asia, workers from India and North Korea will be brought to Russia.
Publika.az Aleksey Zubets, director of the Institute of Socio-Economic Research under the Government of the Russian Federation, said.
According to him, recruitment agencies do not see a big problem in bringing several thousand skilled workers from India to Russia who can be used in complex industries. This cannot always be said about migrants from Central Asia.
At the same time, he stressed that the issue of migration creates social tension in Russia. The people are irritated by the dismissal of local citizens, and the migrants themselves do not want to integrate into Russian society.
It should be noted that the salaries of migrants in production have increased to almost 150 thousand rubles by the summer of 2024. This situation is explained by the acute shortage of welders, concrete workers, monolithic workers and reinforcement workers in Russian enterprises. At the same time, immigrants are increasingly attracted to legal employment.
