TAIPEI.— The 7.4 magnitude earthquake registered in Taiwan left at least nine dead and 1,111 injured.

“Mexico sends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the earthquake that occurred in eastern Taiwan and all its solidarity with the affected people, wishing them a very speedy recovery,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed in its X account.
