Key meeting with the Minister of the Interior

He President of Anappomil Grupo Coraje, retired PNP commander Julio Monar Ariasnoted that, through Letter 001-2024-SSC, the associations of FF.AA. the PNP in retirement they requested the Minister of the Interior, Juan José Santivañez Antúnezto interpose their good offices to approve the increase in salaries and pensions of uniformed personnel.
In this regard, they demanded a pension that compensates for the basic family basket and the well-being of their families. Therefore, they stressed the need for an update of salaries and pensions.
They stressed that currently a Senior Technician with 35 and 40 years of uninterrupted service receives a ridiculous pension of 2,668.00 soles, without taking into account their sacrifice, studies, exclusive dedication, in addition to the fact that they are the fundamental support of each Institution.

The commission appointed for the hearing is chaired by the General Coordinator of the United Associations, retired FAP Colonel Fredy Arias Portugal, and made up of retired PNP Commander Julio Monar Arias, President of Anappomil Coraje, and Lt. Col. EP ® Antonio Ricaldi Cajahuanca, President of ASTYSOREP.
They will also be accompanied by Lt. Sup. 1st. MGP Adolfo Lagos Melgar, President of AFPENFAAPONA, SOS PNP ® Gladys Chuquisuta, President of APOFEP, SOS.PNP ® Dr. Marcelino Clemente Guerrero, among others.
They indicated that there has been no increase in the salaries and pensions of military and police personnel since 2012. “Therefore, we request the Executive Branch to consider as soon as possible the budget allocation to address the above, which we understand is perfectly feasible, despite the economic, social and political difficulties that the country is going through,” they indicated.
