They promote talent to create local projects

In the Museum of Metals, the Ingenia 360 Workshop stands out.

With the aim of contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) established by the United Nations, Industrias Peñoles develops actions directly in its operating units and also implements social programs where community participation is promoted.

Among the educational programs carried out through the Museum of Metals, the Ingenia 360° Workshop stands out, which is based on the review of the SDGs and the observation of local situations that require attention.

This workshop is aimed at adolescents between 13 and 15 years old who focus on observing the social environment, reflecting and seeking solutions as a team. They analyze which situations could be addressed objectively, with available resources and the scope that each possible project would have.

Once the topics or problems have been chosen, and as the participants acquire theoretical-methodological tools from the group’s advisors, the teams develop their projects that include research, proposal, justification, sketches and a real budget of what it would cost to produce a good or service.

There will be 12 sessions from May 2 to June 13, taking place on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. and on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. Participants make a final presentation in front of parents and guests.

Those interested can contact the Metal Museum at 871 729 55 00 extension 7030 to receive more information.
