They present activities in ‘My Dad is my Engine’

For two days, the eighteenth edition of the exhibition of classic, old and modified cars, called “My Dad is my Engine”, will be held, with which Father’s Day will be celebrated for all Laguneros, the next 8 and June 9.

Officially, this Tuesday this event was presented through a press conference held in the facilities of a food market located in the Eastern Zone of this city, where next Saturday the special guest, Martín Vaca, star of the program, will begin his tour. Members of the organizing committee and sponsoring brands appeared at the information meeting, such as Rudi de la Mora, Rosario Pedraza, Aarón Balderrama, Manuel Burgos and Juan Antonio Ayala, who has headed the organizing committee of this event for 18 years.

Aarón Balderrama, from Red Diseño, confirmed that Martín Vaca will arrive in his own aircraft during the early hours of Saturday morning, to begin a long journey that will include autograph signings at the sponsor market and at automotive agencies, as well as a program in Radio Torreón and will close with a gathering in Puerto Noas; All the events are free. “Martín is very happy to come to La Laguna again, he is always very friendly and willing to greet all the La Laguna dads, take pictures and accompany us a week before Father’s Day, to start the celebrations for all the La Laguna dads. ”Balderrama noted.

Martín Vaca, protagonist of the reality show “Mexicánicos”, will come from Guadalajara, Jalisco, on an annual visit that has become traditional in the Comarca Lagunera, where fans are privileged, since Martín’s presence is requested in many cities in Mexico , and even in other countries. In addition to autograph signings and visits, there will be a great exhibition of classic, old and modified cars, on the plaza in the Plaza Mayor of Torreón, on Sunday, June 9, starting at 10:00 a.m.

On the same Sunday, an artistic caravan will be held by the Moorelear collective, which will present Lagunero singers who have previously performed in important forums in Mexico, and even in renowned music reality shows on national television. The activities will culminate in Plaza Mayor, around 6:00 p.m., with the awards for the best cars in the different categories, in which vehicles from the Lagunera region will participate, but also from Monterrey, Chihuahua, Durango, Nuevo León, Aguascalientes , Zacatecas, among other entities.
