They mourn the death of director of UAAAN Laguna

The Antonio Narro Autonomous Agrarian University (UAAAN) announced the death of the zootechnical veterinary doctor Ramón Alfredo Delgado González, regional director of the Laguna Unit.

The rector of the educational institution, Alberto Flores Olivas, as well as the university community, regretted his death and, in solidarity, expressed their support for his family and friends and wished them soon comfort.

The Society of Students as well as alumni, the staff of the regional administration and the Large Species Veterinary Hospital of the UAAAN Unidad Laguna, as well as the Ibero-American University of Torreón, the Technological University of Torreón and the Federation of Colleges also sent their condolences. and Associations of Zootechnical Veterinary Doctors of Mexico AC, among others. The people with whom the doctor cultivated friendship and respect remembered him as an exemplary professional and teacher.

With 1,084 votes in favor, Delgado González, originally from Chihuahua, Chihuahua, arrived at the regional leadership of the Laguna Unit in October 2022, after the voting process for the 2022-2026 period.

For now, teacher Edgardo Cervantes Álvarez was appointed as interim regional director, effective until July 19 of the current year. Subsequently and in an extraordinary manner, a University Council will be held to appoint an interim director and, in August, already in the new school year, new elections must be called.
