Harilaou Trikoupi’s aim in drawing up the European ballot paper is, on the one hand, to serve the renewal of the executive potential, in which Harilaou Trikoupi invests, and on the other hand, to reach out to all sides of the party for the maximum possible rally – especially in areas such as Attica and the North Greece, in which PASOK’s percentage is still lower than its national percentage. Three nominations have already been announced: Maria Dafermou from Chania, Olga Markogiannakis (a nomination with references to Northern Greece) and, in the logic of enlargement, the labor expert Kostas Tsoukalas, who is the son of former SYRIZA MP Dimitris Tsoukalas. More gradual announcements are expected in the near future until the list is validated by the Central Committee.
