Canacintra Gómez Palacio, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and the Sanatorio San José will hold a Health Fair next Thursday, April 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The objective is to offer screening services to company employees and their families to prevent some type of illness, so that companies have healthy workers and seek prevention.
Juan Ávalos, from the steering committee of the Sanatorio San José, pointed out that Different types of care will be provided to people who attend the Health Fair for freesince prevention and having healthy collaborators within companies and providing follow-up in cases of special attention are of utmost importance for everyone.
Among the services provided by the IMSS, there will be health promotion, addiction prevention; nutrition, with the measurement of weight, height, Body Mass Index and abdominal circumference; detection of diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure; oral health, good brushing and disclosing pill; prevention of sexually transmitted infections, with provision of condoms for men and women; rapid HIV and hepatitis tests; mental health screening. There will also be a service module for procedures and services.
As for the Sanatorio San José, it will provide psychological care, There will be a system for evaluating health status, there will also be glucose, triglyceride and cholesterol tests.reports on breast cancer, as well as promotions and discounts at the medical center.
It was indicated that people who attend the health fair can be served in one or more services.
