The National Police dismantled a clandestine synthetic drug laboratory containing 35 kilos of MDMA in the province of Valencia and arrested six people who were part of a criminal organization dedicated to the large-scale production of synthetic drugs and who possessed that quantity of substance with They could have produced up to 150,000 ecstasy pills.

In total, four men and two women were arrested as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of belonging to a criminal group, drug trafficking and money laundering.
The investigation began in June, when the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police of Valencia learned that an individual was dedicated to the production of large quantities of synthetic drugs for subsequent distribution, as well as the cultivation of marijuana, locating his operations center in a municipality of Valencia. .
In the course of the intense police work, it was established that the main investigator led a high lifestyle as well as constantly meeting people linked, for the most part, to the world of drug trafficking.
The agents discovered that this person was the owner of a clandestine laboratory intended for the large-scale production of synthetic drugs. They acquired the precursors and substances necessary for the production of these drugs in several countries, mainly in the Netherlands.
They distributed the drugs throughout Spain, especially in Ibiza
The members of the organization had the necessary knowledge to mix these substances with which they obtained different types of synthetic drugs, for subsequent distribution in different parts of Spain, mainly on the island of Ibiza.
Furthermore, the members of the criminal group had a clear differentiation of functions, while some acted as “guardians” and “custodians” of the drugs, others had the task of helping the main suspect in the preparation of the substances, with the third acting as frontmen of the goods, thus laundering the money obtained from the sale of the drugs.
A police operation was carried out in November which culminated in the location of the lead investigator who was intercepted in the city of Valencia while driving his luxury vehicle.
A search was carried out inside, where a significant quantity of ecstasy pills and a bottle of shower gel containing ketamine were found, which is why he was arrested.
Buried drug
Following house searches carried out subsequently, the clandestine laboratory was identified, located in a closed and hidden room near a horse stable, in the plot where the main suspect lived.
Thanks to the collaboration of the Dog Guide Unit, two underground boxes were found containing a significant quantity of synthetic drugs such as crystals, ketamine and ecstasy.
Instead, there was a structure divided into four underground rooms, of the “zulo” type, which was accessed through the sofa bed in one of the bedrooms using a hydraulic device and which had to be hidden in case of “overturning” by someone other organizations that intended to raid the laboratory.
The operation led to one of the largest methamphetamine seizures in the past year.
After being brought to justice, one of the detainees was ordered to be placed in a temporary prison.
