They denounce aggression at a minor by schoolmates in Valledupar

A criminal complaint for the crime of personal injury was filed before the Attorney General’s Office, after a minor was a victim of a thus allegedly propelled by his schoolmates, in an event that occurred on May 23 on the outskirts of Valledupar.

The teenager, a student of a renowned bilingual school in the north of the city, was taken from his surroundings under deception and subsequently assaulted by at least one of his classmates, as reported in the complaint established by his mother. According to the story, the child asked permission to meet with friends in the house of one of them. Hours later, his older brother warned the family after receiving a call for help from the young man, who also shared his real -time location.

Initially, the cell phone GPS indicated that the child was on the road to the municipality of La Paz. Later, its location changed to the ninth race, already within the urban perimeter of Valledupar. It was in that journey where, according to the complaint, the young man was taken to a rural area by one of his classmates, where he was beaten and threatened with death.

Subsequently, the minor managed to escape from the truck in motion in front of the El Traveler Park, where he was helped by uniforms of the CAI of the sector, who urgently transferred him to the Erasmus clinic with multiple wounds on his face, chest and back.

According to the preliminary version of the facts, the aggression would have been motivated by the existence of an intimate video of the bride of one of the aggressors that the child had on his cell phone. It is presumed that the material was shared to third parties, which would have triggered the violent act by the group.

Although the complaint indicates that only one of the students was the one who physically assaulted the young man, all involved are students of the same school. The victim’s family lawyer asked the educational institution to apply the corresponding disciplinary sanctions, despite the fact that the events did not occur within the campus.

The Prosecutor’s Office advances in the investigations to clarify the facts and determine the corresponding criminal responsibilities.
