They capture drunk drivers who caused accidents in Santa Tecla

The El Desvío pumping plant of the National Administration of Aqueducts and Sewers (ANDA) was inspected by the technical staff and the president of the institution, Rubén Alemán, which is being intervened with different improvement works to benefit the population of sectors of freedom.

From this plant, areas of Santa Elena, San José Villanueva, Las Colinas, Vía del Mar, Zaragoza, and the southern sector of Santa Tecla are supplied, according to Alemán, who regretted that, due to the lack of technical vision of previous administrations, the plant and others have deteriorated.

«We have corroborated that the lack of technical vision of the past, the lack of protocols is not taking its toll. In record time, we have solved the problems that existed in this pumping plant. “We are working 24/7 to be able to increase continuity and robustness,” said Alemán.

Likewise, he highlighted the work that has been carried out with institutions such as the Ministry of Housing to guarantee water projects to benefit communities that, for years, have been affected by the lack of drinking water.

Also, Alemán assured that all the plants that belong to the Northern Zone System will be rehabilitated as part of the loan that was granted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

«Thanks to the transparency that we have today, with the IDB we are about to rehabilitate the Northern Zone System that will bring water in quantity and quality to all these sectors. We want to ask for patience from all the people of La Libertad Este who have been affected by a not so equitable distribution of liquid,” he stressed.
