They arrest a driver who fled after hitting a pedestrian in Candelaria de la Frontera

A driver who was found to have 462 degrees of alcohol through the alcohol test was arrested by the National Civil Police (PNC), the entity indicated this morning.

The captured person was driving drunk on the La Paz Route, El Triunfo canton, Morazán.

The detainee was identified by the authorities as José Juan Rival. “He will be prosecuted for dangerous driving,” declared the PNC in its official X account.

So far in 2024, more than 680 dangerous drivers have been arrested, which means an average of six captured per day for this crime, according to the general director of traffic Alfredo Alvayero, at the beginning of April.
