As the Bridge and Road Construction Administration announced, two closures will be set up on Luxembourg’s motorways next weekend due to construction work. The A6 and A3 motorways are affected. The closures last until Monday.
Renewal of the road surface on the Bridel and Steinfort motorway junctions on the A6 motorway
The road surface on the A6 motorway between the Bridel and Steinfort junctions will be renewed from Saturday around midnight until Monday around 5am.

The exit and on-ramp from the Bridel motorway junction towards Belgium, as well as the exit from the Steinfort motorway junction towards Belgium, will be closed during this time. Traffic from the A6 towards Bridel will be diverted from the Bridel motorway junction via the A6 towards Belgium, the Mamer motorway junction, and via the A6 towards Luxembourg and the Bridel motorway junction.
Traffic coming from the CR181 and heading towards the A6 to Belgium will be diverted from the Bridel junction via the A6 towards Luxembourg, the Strassen junction and the A6 towards Belgium. Traffic from the A6 towards Steinfort will be diverted via the N6 from the Mamer motorway junction.
Construction site between the Gluck roundabout and the Hesperange motorway junction
As part of the expansion of the Ban de Gasperich, the A3 motorway between the Gluck roundabout and the Hesperange motorway junction will be closed from Saturday around 5 a.m. to Monday around 4 a.m.

Traffic from the Gluck roundabout towards the Gasperich junction is diverted via the N4A (Boulevard de Kockelscheuer), the CR231 (Boulevard FW Raiffeisen) and the Hesperange junction. Traffic from the A3 motorway towards Luxembourg City will be diverted from the Hesperange motorway junction via the CR231 (Boulevard FW Raiffeisen) and the N4A (Boulevard de Kockelscheuer).
