MADRID, Spain.- The renowned Cuban actor Félix Beatón reassured his followers with a message about his recent hospital admission. In an audio shared by the Cubaactores Facebook page this Thursday, Beatón expressed his gratitude to all the people who “appreciate and value his work” and who were attentive to his health.
The actor, who is already at home, after having been “half sick” and having spent a few days in the hospital for “medical checkups,” assured that everything was a “false alarm.”
“I think, God willing, there is Félix Beatón for a while. I repeat, God willing, it is not that I determine it, but I feel very good, there is no problem,” he said.
“Hugs to all my Cubans wherever they are and we continue in the fight,” concluded the actor, who enjoys great popularity among Cubans thanks to his work in soap operas, films, series and plays.
Beatón was admitted this Tuesday to the Hermanos Ameijeiras hospital in Havana. “Beatón felt severe pain in his chest and was taken to the hospital. They have done several tests to examine it, but the doctors confirmed that, fortunately, it was not a heart attack. “It seems to be another heart problem that they are investigating, so they decided to keep him admitted,” he explained to CubaNet an artist close to the actor who asked to protect his identity.
