There are rumors that Quang Hai will go to Japan to compete

Some sources confirm that midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai said goodbye to CAHN Club to go to Japan to play.

The future of Quang Hai receiving the attention of the media and fans, when the midfielder from Dong Anh (Hanoi) is about to expire his 1.5-year contract with CLB CAHN.

Some sources said that Quang Hai decided not to renew his contract with the police team, nor to play for another team in the V-League.

Midfielder No. 19 chose a new destination, a team in the J-League (Japan). The two sides have had initial discussions and if nothing changes, the contract will be signed immediately after the 2023/24 V-League ends at the end of June.

It is known that the Japanese team has been pursuing Quang Hai for more than a year now. For his part, number 19 said that even though he had an unsuccessful trip abroad in France, he always wanted to go abroad to compete.

“I am trying my best in the present, but I am also ready to wait for future opportunities to contribute to Vietnamese football,” Quang Hai shared at a recent event when asked about the possibility of going abroad.

If he goes to Japan to compete, this will be the second time Quang Hai plays for a team abroad. Previously, in 2022, the Vietnamese player said goodbye to Noi FC to join Pau Fc (Ligue 2, France). Here, number 19 often has to sit on the bench.

Currently, Quang Hai is in good form, with 7 goals for CAHN. He will almost certainly be called up by coach Kim Sang Sik to the Vietnam team in the upcoming training camp.
