The image highlights the support on social media from Palestinian supporters following Israel’s brutal and deadly airstrikes. The image depicts tents in a refugee camp arranged with the words “All Eyes on Rafah” which means “All Eyes are on Rafah”.
Responding to this, the Chairman of the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board, KH Ahmad Fahrur Rozi, who is familiarly called Gus Fahrur, said that this image is a manifestation of the world’s sadness after seeing the suffering of the Palestinian people being bombarded by Israel relentlessly. “The world is crying bitterly without being able to do anything,” said Gus Fahrur, Friday (31/5/2024).

Gus Fahrur said that Israel’s actions actually violated applicable international regulations and law because they continued to endlessly massacre the Palestinian people, who basically needed protection.
“The world’s prayers and tears have been shed seeing Rafah suffer, hopefully the justice of Allah SWT, the Almighty, will soon come down to save them (the Palestinian people),” said Gus Fahrur.
