Russian President, Vladimir Putin, confirmed that the West faces a state of helplessness in the face of the unity of the Russian people and that Russia “is not at a crossroads, but rather is on the strategic path to its development and will not deviate from it.”

In a lengthy interview with the Russia 1 channel and the RIA Novosti agency, Putin stated that from a military technical point of view, Russia is ready for a nuclear war, but there is currently no reason for a direct clash, stressing that the Russian nuclear triad is more modern than any other triad.

The Russian President added that the United States is working to develop its nuclear forces and seeks to make them more modern, but this does not mean that it is ready to launch a nuclear war tomorrow, noting that if the United States conducts nuclear tests, I do not rule out that we will do that as well.

He stressed that any negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine must be comprehensive, serious, and based on the new reality on the ground, explaining that the presence of foreign forces will not change the situation on the battlefield, and if American forces appear in Ukraine, we will deal with them as an intervening force.

Putin explained that the initiative on the contact line has completely passed to the Russian army and everyone realizes this, pointing out that Kiev’s attempts to attack the Russian provinces of Belgorod and Kursk come against the backdrop of its failures on the fronts.

He also stressed that whoever threatens Russia with red lines, Russia will not have any red lines against him, considering that the possibility of reaching an honest treaty with the West requires documented security guarantees.

Putin pointed out that the pre-election situation in the United States is becoming more and more uncivilized.
