“All conditions were created for holding democratic elections in Azerbaijan. The fact that there are many candidates and they represent different parties are also indicators that the elections were held according to democratic principles.”
Publika.az reports, this was said by Iskander Matraimov, the head of the delegation of the Kyrgyz Parliament, a member of the CIS observation mission, who announced the results of the monitoring of the presidential elections.
I. Matraimov noted that equal conditions were created for the candidates in the campaign campaign: “All candidates were given the opportunity to present their programs to the voters. The transparent organization of the voting process on the election day was carried out at a high level. All voters were guaranteed the right to vote. Those who could not go to the polling station, ballot boxes have been organized”.
The head of the delegation emphasized that the pre-election process and the organization of voting at a high level indicate that these elections were held in accordance with democratic principles.
