The violence case between Deniz Bulutsuz and Ozan Güven was postponed

The case, in which Deniz Bulutsuz and Ozan Güven, whose relationship ended with allegations of violence, filed mutual complaints against each other, continued at the Istanbul 58th Criminal Court of First Instance. The lawyers of the parties were present at the hearing of the case where actor Ozan Güven was tried for a prison sentence of 13 years to 6 months for allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend Deniz Bulutsuz on June 13, 2020, and Deniz Bulutsuz was tried for a prison sentence of 4 months to 1 year for the crime of ‘simple wounding’. .

At the hearing, the lawyer of the complainant defendant Ozan Güven said, “We think that the Forensic Medicine Board acted biasedly, we have heard that the complainant defendant Deniz Bulutsuz received psychological treatment before the incident. We request an additional expert report.”

IT WILL BE EXAMINED IF HE RECEIVED TREATMENT.

The court decided to examine the records regarding whether Deniz Bulutsuz received psychological treatment. Announcing an interim decision, the court decided to write a letter to the SSI and the Ministry of Health and examine the records of whether Deniz Bulutsuz received anxiety disorder or any other psychological treatment before June 13, 2020. The hearing was postponed to October 4, 2024.

INDICTMENT

In the indictment, it was stated that the couple, who were at Ozan Güven’s house at night on June 13, 2020, had an argument that started at their friend’s house, and that Güven hit Deniz Bulutsuz with his lampshade and hands. The lampshade that allegedly caused Deniz Bulutsuz’s jaw injury was considered a weapon. During the ongoing trial at the Istanbul 58th Criminal Court of First Instance, the court requested a definitive report from the Forensic Medicine Institute regarding the wounds on Deniz Bulutsuz’s body. In the first report prepared by the 2nd Specialization Board of the Forensic Medicine Institute, it was stated that the injury in Deniz Bulutsuz was not a situation that endangered his life, that its effect on the person was not so mild that it could be eliminated with simple medical intervention, that there was no bone fracture in his body, that there was no permanent scar on his face, that one of his organs was damaged. It was noted that no anatomical deficiency or functional disorder resulting in weakening or loss of function could be described or detected.
