The Valledupar Transport Terminal intensifies controls for legality

The Valledupar Transportation Terminal led a dialogue table with the institutions and Supertransporte, implementing control measures to counteract the scourge of illegality so that users join the comprehensive and quality service.

For her part, the Valledupar Transit Secretary, Diana Daza, indicated that they will consolidate the permanence of regulators in the sector in order to decongest vehicular traffic and increase prevention and promotion campaigns in road safety.

Likewise, the Municipal Government Secretariat will intervene in the public space and the collection centers used for the parking of informal transport, as well as the eviction of street vendors, which compromise the integrity of travelers.

For Armando López, legal representative of the city’s taxi drivers union, “it is essential to be part of these strategies, since we also suffer the consequences of illegality. We will be aware of the development of what was agreed,” said the representative.
