The Upper Austrian Job Week 2024 in review – 2024-04-17 08:50:29

In March everything in the Gmunden district revolved around finding employees. The WKO Gmunden supported the companies with two exciting projects: the OO Job Week and the Almtal Job Rally.

In the week of career choice from 18th to 22nd. March 2024, job seekers (pupils, students, adults…) got a comprehensive insight into the companies and their job opportunities. The offer of the 3rd OO Almost 1,200 interested job seekers in the Gmunden district took advantage of Job Week at 49 companies with 112 events. The extensive range of events on the homepage jobweek.at ranged from company tours to trial tastes, speed dating with the boss,… A lot of impressions were conveyed and this supports companies and job seekers alike.

As part of the OO Job Week, the 5th Almtal Job Rally took place again this year. For almost 200 students from the 3rd NMS classes in Vorchdorf, Laakirchen and Scharnstein it was “Ready, Ready Job Rally”. 15 companies opened their doors and presented their apprenticeships in the Almtal in a practical manner. There were 10 tours, each with 3 companies, in order to offer the students as extensive and interesting an offer as possible. Martin Ettinger, chairman of the, was also convinced of this WKO Gmunden, together with Vice Mayor Margit Kriechbaum.

We are pleased that numerous companies are taking advantage of the offer WKOÖ accept and successfully design and implement with us. “Now we hope that one or two of them have found their dream job/employee during the week of their career choice,” says Martin Ettinger, chairman of the company WKO Gmunden.
