The Emirati writer Ali Al-Abdan is one of the veteran creators who excelled in various practical and cultural fields distributed between the visual arts, the history of music, artistic criticism, psychology, and poetry … He is one of the writers who confused- in front of their achievements- the standards of classification … to the extent that one may be confused where these encyclopedias whose works are separated between many fields? While others may ask whether it remains- at this time- intellectuals with this Aristotelian soul, in order to marry- in practice and practically- between these varying areas?
However, the two questions are soon confused against the research, creative, and visual achievements, which were produced by Emirati writer Ali Al -Abdan. Therefore, we will stand- today- at his anecdotal collection: “the two sisters” whose narrative discourse was stacked with a creative depth that ranges between tracking funny details, and evoking the influential philosophical references … However, what should be concerned with- in the context of the approach of this unique experience- is not limited to the ways of the elapse of these rich references to support the story, nor with the extent of endurance of its area Wealthy knowledge; Because this is a secret buried in the immortality of the text and the creator of the creator. Rather, the two most prominent questions will face the curious reader: What are the mechanisms and methods that helped the narrator to be covered on these details and events that are not damaged? The group: “The two sisters” – in its first edition – issued in the year 2023 by the publications of “The Emirates Writers and Writers”. It included thirteen short stories among its folds, as well as ten very short stories, which confirms its observance of the microbiological standards that separate these two sexes, interfering literature. Therefore, the two sisters – here – may be two thoughts, two principles, two philosophies, two issues, two visions … We are more likely that the creator will translate them into expressive stories, influential events, and stimulating values.
And a survey of the nature of the anecdotal addresses that ranged between gravity and excitement such as: the residents of the bodied, divine motifs, true, a difference in the grave, a bird of glass, the secret of the miniature … it is noted that the storyteller has been based- mostly- to significant feasts, but- at the same time- do not receive their contents easily; Because it leaves the area of thumb and ambiguity that is divorced between the reader and the text, but rather it invites him to guess in the content of these stories, based on what it raises in its titles, and what relates to it from references to memory, art, philosophy, heritage, and metaphysics … and it seems that his employment for them as objective incentives, and formal attractions, was a desire to rhythm in the reader of wisdom The submerged that inhabit the anecdotal details. In identical to the foregoing, the narrator paved a number of his stories in visual forms: “paintings and photographic pictures”, with some of them being taken with extracts from the Holy Qur’an, or from international literature; It was quoted by Gustav Flaubert: “The trash is the best friend of the writer” (p. 11). While the story of “Swimming in the eyes of a sea is thundering” was passed based on the interaction with another creative product; The narrator was inspired by one of the stories of “Emirati writer Abdel Hamid Ahmed” (p. 117).
Emotional and suspense narrative
And on the loudness of the shape, the group: “The two hardships” have been overwhelmed by most of its stories, according to what the technique of stirring up emotion and suspense requires; This means that the narrator’s bet on these two technologies was stemming from his desire to improve the roles of narration in general, and the story in particular; Because the challenge of stirring up emotion and suspense represents the first literature that guarantees the success and quality of any narrative action, a story, a novel, a biography, a film etc. Therefore, ways of the creator of these two technologies lead us to three formal and fundamental choices that he worked on in special methods, the first of which is: adopting significant and exciting titles for the desire to receive and discover, as previously indicated. Second: Employing plots and personalities whose great goal is to seize and trace the unconscious by tracking the transit details that- in our accelerated time- can receive a portion of humanitarian thinking and attention; In order to mention, but not limited to, the plot of the story of the “draft residents” took care of the changes that come on the means of human being in the face of life, interested in the action of writing that was subjected to the tremors of digitization … begging in expressing that the draft characters: “Signing, scribbling …” who were destroyed by the volume of transformations that have been made to write the act of writing from 1981 to 2021, just as they terrified the digital execution of words; It is the execution that eliminated the draft in its material concept, and its inhabitants or rather its memory of feelings, events, attitudes and reflections. And thirdly: the implementation of the brainstorming with an emotional and emotional investment to double the outlets of excitement and suspense, similar to what is required in the story of “Fahih”, which those who seek their beginning cannot relax or close the eyelid except after reaching the reassurance of the tense at the end, says the narrator at the beginning of the story is stormy with the mind of the recipient to the ignorance of the anticipation: “ Said sat spent time until his hosts, his sister and her husband, came back, and the voice appeared to be frightening, and whenever he was close to knowing the nature of that voice, he cursed the day when he became blind … ”(p. 129).
Not far from the techniques of stimulating passion and suspense in the recipient, the researcher and writer Ali Al -Abdan took from this group a path to pass a number of knowledge and life experiences from various perspectives; This means that the characters were not stereotypes, but rather a representative of the various classes and social and humanitarian issues … Perhaps their most prominent interest in people of determination; This is because the story of “Fahaheeh” revolves- its narrative contents- about the psychology of the blind person, and the extent of its suffering with the jealousy, etc. While the story of: “The two sisters” was on the internal pain of the females who are victims of equality, or the masculinity, or the traditions and societal norms … represented by that with the “valid” character that innocent girl who was imprisoned at home on the charge that she turned into a woman … and “Amani” her brother’s wife who betrayed the hopes of her family … expressing through the two characters that are tired of the dialectic of restrictions and freedom that frames. The reality of women and their horizon in societies that are subject to the power of norms more than their submission to the value of reason and morals.
Philosophical aesthetics
On the other hand, the narrative of passion and suspense was not resolved as a barrier to the writer Ali Al -Abdan’s investment of the aesthetics of the philosophical dimensions that have been permeated most of his stories; The contemplative reader quickly objected to major philosophical references that have been dissolved and broadcast between the speeches of the characters, and the events of events that re -crystallize them in a calm manner that doubles the philosophical dimensions of the narrative discourse in general, and the aesthetic effect of the story in particular; Since the first story, “The Population of the draft”, Ali Al -Abdan leads his reader to a thesis that leads: “Whoever moves changes” (p. 15). There is no doubt that the first reading leads us- directly- to the Greek philosopher Heraklitus, who has warned us- since before Christmas- to the impossibility that we will praise in the river itself twice. We also signed the first teacher, Aristotle, who enacted in his book “metaphysics” what it means:
“The movement is the origin or reality of existence … but the nature of the philosophical impact involved in the stories of Al -Abdan requires – inevitably – doubling the interpretations, because its purpose of narrative and artistic discourse exceeds the rumination of philosophies, to its development from within what is provided by the letters of art, literature, and music.
From there, we see that his narrative and philosophical followers: “Whoever moves changes” transcends- in our belief- the limits of stability and change, or proof and exile, to what is more complex than that; That is, what has a relationship- directly- with the psychological problems of contemporary human existence, as if to say that avoiding inhabitants with the complication of the self; It leads to radical change in shape and essence, heart and mind; It is the main way to discover the capabilities and lives in which the object is an active, not effective, a producer, and in that says the narrator in the story of “sweeping the annihilation” in the words of the wife’s personality: “Then I took a broom and started to sweep the annihilation, even though it was his essence twice yesterday, she was feeling distress since last night, and she thinks that the feeling of distress will disappear with the sweat …” (P.29); That is, it disappears with movement and transgression … and from there, the first paths of change start from the movement, not stillness, from the will, not surrender. Perhaps this small quote is enough to show the entrances and mechanisms of developing stories on Al -Abdan for their own philosophical narration? How does its encyclopedic cognitive perspectives intensify the manifestations of our human existence? All of this confirms that this experience is not indicated that the aesthetic dimension of the story increases in depth, influence and appearance … The more creative the creator will invest the philosophical dimension, the more he can inspire his reader with ideas and solutions to this on the one hand. On the other hand, the proper employment of this dimension restores these cognitive roles according to which literature is the only imaginary discourse capable of enlightening our human existence.

Away from the wealth of the scientific and creative achievements of the writer Ali Al -Abdan, it seems that the value of his narrative work is “the two sisters”, whether it is related to the artistic construction, or the depth and attractiveness of the contents … The recipient; Or in other words, it does not leave a space to control the text by finding his prior possibilities, or his settled ideas that are strengthened to face the story; This represents – here – a moment of fragmentation and divergence that calls the reader to search for what leads him to some of his tribal speculations. Accordingly, it can be said- with all neutrality- that the storyteller Ali Al-Abdan is among the contemporary Arab creators who were able to make literary writing an excuse to open up to knowledge … and a way to enlighten the depth in philosophies … and an urgent necessity to improve the aesthetic effect of poetry or narration … so that the act of writing- in this group- is transgressing what is being towards what should be, or rather what should be thought In it, or dream about it.
