National women’s football team captain Sabina Khatun and Under-19 women’s football team captain Afeeda Khandaker spent the first day of Eid busy. Both the captains of the South Asian champions are celebrating Eid with their families in Satkhira.
Sabina Khatun, Afeeda Khandkar and athlete Shirin Akhtar were invited by the local district commissioner for Eid. At noon, Sabina-Afeedara went to the Deputy Commissioner’s house.
Sabina Khatun from Satkhira was saying, ‘Time is passing in busyness. I am coming on vacation for a short time. a lot of work In the afternoon, I went to his house on the invitation of the Deputy Commissioner Sir. He is a sportsman. We are very happy with his hospitality. I am home from there. Spending time with everyone.’
How did you spend the first day of Eid? Under-19 women’s team captain Afeeda Khandkar was saying from Satkhira, ‘I wake up in the morning and help my mother with work. Then Eid starts with greetings to grandparents, parents, uncles and aunts. Met all the relatives.’
‘Then I went to the residence of Satkhira District Commissioner sir at noon. Satkhira’s two-seat MPO was also there. Sisters took some pictures together in the afternoon. And in the evening I go to my relatives’ house’ – added Afeeda.
