Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the US administration of Donald Trump is making “miscalculations” on the Middle East, adding that heeding “Zionist lies” could only worsen conflicts. On a flight back from a trip to Asia, he also reportedly said he expected Trump to make good on his campaign promises and take steps toward peace instead of creating new conflicts.
