“At night I remember. When you and I were inseparable. We had pure energy. “We had that chemistry.” Thus begins the romantic song protagonist of the new Apple commercial to highlight what is apparently the biggest attraction of the iPhone 15, the battery life.
The message is a bit ironic, given that the smartphone has been criticized above all because it doesn’t offer what it promises. Even according to international media such as El Economista, Apple’s explanation for the short battery life of the new iPhones would be the use of Meta applications.
A communication on social networks
This difference between the two companies may have convinced Apple to take other platforms as the center of its communication. Designed as a creative action to spread on social networks, users will see it on TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
The advert has been named “Miss You” and is not the brand’s first to feature melodies from famous pop songs. On previous occasions, Apple has also featured its ads with songs from artists such as NewJens, Olivia Rodrigo and George Harrison.
Now it seems to be Doe Boy’s turn, who this time is played by a plug who comes to life to sing the song’s touching lyrics: “I feel like it’s been too long and I miss you.”
Meanwhile, the commercial continues with the protagonist using his iPhone carefree and very happy, completely unaware of the emotional toll his grip is taking on him.
